It's been 10 months and 26 days since I got my blog on.
Since I last talked, a few things have happened:
-I've moved up from dishwashing to waitressing, or 'serving' in finer establishments such as the one I work at. It is fun and rad and all these people I feed tell me I'm good at telling them what they're eating and whatnots and all that, so that's nice.
-I made an album cover for my friend John, his band is called Panoramic & True, they are awesome and the album is great, go find it! I'm too lazy to find it for you right now. Maybe later I will.
-Poppy got fleas really bad for a minute. We fixed it though, and she appreciates her flea-free lifestyle all the more.
-Don't be surprised or offended for me, you sweethearts, if you see some beer in LA that looks like alanabaileybrand beer. I don't make beer. But it's OK.

I COULDN'T HELP BUT WRITE A BLOG ABOUT IT.

A DAY IN THE COUNTRY WAS SO GREAT
If you missed it, too bad for you! What were you doing? I bet you couldn't find your way out of green music fest when you got off the train. I had trouble last night and it hadn't even started yet.
It was a super gorgeous day, thanks to Lawrence Peters' weather machine, and we all got to hang around with good music, friends, dogs, rad kids, a roasted pig... potato salad, coleslaw, beans... tiny pies... beer....
Are you jealous yet? I would be if I hadn't been there.

IT'S TIME FOR A BLOGGERSON: DAY IN THE COUNTRY THIS SUNDAY AT THE HIDEOUT!
Yep. 2 posts a year: what?
So. I made a poster for A Day In The Country 2011... I'm calling the style "Amish Psych" or "Psych Amish". I haven't decided which one rolls off the tongue better yet. I do not feel like getting up, taking a cameraphone photo, emailing it to myself, photoshopping it and putting it on here right now-I have errands to run as soon as I post this- so instead I will tell you IT MUST BE SEEN IN PERSON to really appreciate!
In addition to the DIC2011 posters I will have some backstock stuff, business cards, and good cheer to dispense... OH and the latest pilsen-and-chicken-themed LDCTA POSTER: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LDCTA?ref=seller_info
Come see me on Sunday, June 26th, from 2-11pm, at the Hideout! 1354 W. Wabansia. We can talk about the weather.
